15 days of free games from Epic Games!

Epic Games Client

The Epic Games client has made a bit of a name for itself lately by offering free games regularly. Some have been absolute gems (Into the Breach, Crying Suns, and Among Us to name a few). At the moment they’re in the process of offering games each day for 15 days. The first arrived yesterday which was Shenmue III. Today Neon Abyss is up for grabs. By the look of things, you’ll only get 24 hours to claim each title so be sure to login daily so that you don’t miss out!

How to claim your free games

To claim your games jump on the Epic Games Client (go here and click the blue button at the top right of the page to download it if you need to install the client).

Once in the client, click the store tab, scroll down until you see the “Free Games” section as pictured below. Click the game, then hit the “Get” button, I always verify that the total is $0.00 (which it always had been) then click place order and you’re done, the game should be in your Library ready to install!

Final words

Epic Games offering games for free has made it worthwhile to start regularly using a 3rd platform on PC (in addition to Steam and Xbox) I’ve managed to build a library of 101 titles, barely spending a cent. If they offer a game of equivalent price I’ll gladly pick them due to their generosity. If you’ve not used it before the client works very well, it’s much simpler than Steam or Xbox Game Pass but that works in its favour as I’m also yet to encounter a problem with it (unlike Xbox Game Pass which I am a big fan of but ended up writing a troubleshooting article on) and effective simplicity is always nice.

Enjoy! I mean who doesn’t love gaming especially when you’re not a cent out of pocket!
